All products that are defective due to a manufacturing defect should be returned to where they were originally purchased. Bicycle shops should return parts to the distributor for credit or replacement.

WHEEL WARRANTY

PRODUCT WARRANTY: Vuelta wheels are covered by a one-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from date of original purchase. Damage to wheel(s) or any part thereof – including rims, spokes, hubs or axles – NOT covered by warranty includes, but is not limited to, crashes, accidents or other mishaps, incurred during any competition or training; damage caused by incorrect installation or maintenance or incorrect use of tools; damage caused by road surface conditions or weather, or results thereof. Wear to tires and/or tubes is considered normal wear and tear and not covered by warranty.

WARRANTY RETURNS: Contact the retailer you purchased your Vuelta wheels from for return instructions. Products returned to Vuelta USA under warranty for replacement are subject to inspection and direct or equivalent replacement at the discretion of the Warranty Department. Vuelta USA does not issue refunds. Replacement time can be from one business day up to indefinite time upon receipt of appropriate replacement product to remedy a specific warranty situation. Products claimed for warranty must be received first before replacement can be issued.

If you have to return your wheel(s) directly to Vuelta USA, call 818-686-3466 to request a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions. Include a copy of proof of purchase and return product within 10 business days from date RA Number was issued.

STANDARD WARRANTY REPLACEMENT: Include $11.95 with returned product to cover shipping and handling. Checks received with products will be held until they clear bank before processing. Vuelta USA is not responsible for funds lost during shipping.

EXPEDITED WARRANTY REPLACEMENT: A product that needs to be replaced before it can be sent will be processed as a regular sales order with the customer’s valid credit card, which will be credited upon receipt of the warranty product. Any required freight above our standard warranty return shipping must be charged to the customer’s credit card before processing.

INELIGIBLE RETURNS: Modified wheels that have been installed and removed, or damaged from mishandling or incorrect installation, cannot be returned for warranty, exchange or credit. Vuelta USA does not recommend use of its wheels with titanium cogs or cogsets, which can damage the cassette body. Wheels damaged in this way are not covered under warranty.

PROOF OF PURCHASE: The invoice or receipt that came with your wheels from where you purchased them is your proof of purchase for any Vuelta road or mountain wheel purchased through a recognized retailer. It is valid one year from date of original purchase. Keep your proof of purchase in a safe place and do not lose it.

PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY: Not every model Vuelta road or mountain wheel may be compatible with bikes, frames and products manufactured by other companies. Check with your local bicycle shop or qualified mechanic, or call us if you need more information prior to purchase.

All Vuelta wheels are designed to meet applicable EU, UCI and US CPSC standards and are shipped complete and boxed, to be installed by a professional bicycle dealer, shop or qualified mechanic. Vuelta USA cannot accept or fulfill any requests to modify, or alter, any model wheel or any part or component thereof, or build custom wheel models.

COMPLETE BIKES EQUIPPED WITH OEM-MODEL VUELTA WHEELS: If you purchased a bicycle equipped with Vuelta wheels, contact the retailer for further product and warranty information.

CHAINRING WARRANTY

Wear to chainring(s) and other drivetrain components, including chains, cranks, cogs, cassettes or freewheels, is considered normal wear and tear and not covered by warranty.
